Falmouth - Historic Babbidge Farm

Historic Babbidge Farm was moved from Cumberland to its current location by a team of oxen in 1820. The accompanying post and beam barn was deconstructed, moved and reconstructed at its current location as well. Since 1989, the current owners have created a homestead that is beyond compare.

Babbidge Farm is truly a rare opportunity. If any of the following apply to you, then look no further.… Do you dream of owning an organic farm, raising your own fruit, vegetables and flowers? Do you wish you could have bees, ducks, chickens, horses, cows, goats, alpaca or sheep? Are you a cabinet or furniture maker who needs a heated woodshop or artist who needs a studio for sculpture, painting or ceramics? Are you a writer who needs to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city? Do you love sitting on the deck watching tree and barn swallows do acrobatics in the afternoon? Do you love entertaining under the stars watching the lighting bugs at your hand built stone fireplace, or indoors with friends and family on long winter evenings? If you answered yes to any or all of the above, then it is time to make your dreams come true.
